Board games
Board game cafés are more fun with someone to play with. Meet a local host at a café in Toronto and the GTA. They'll teach you a new game or happily lose to you at your favourite.

Each one shows the place, how long it takes and the price before you book.
How it works
Pick a place you like, choose a time and meet a friendly local there.
Step 1
Coffee and chat, a walk, language exchange, board games or a museum. Each activity shows the place, how long it takes and the price, and you can look around without an account.
Step 2
Choose a day and a time that suits you. You and the host both agree to the same simple house rules, and your card is only held until you've met.
Step 3
Meet at the place and swap PINs to start. When you're done and you've both left feedback, the payment goes through.

The booking covers the host's time. Café cover charges and drinks are separate, and the activity says if a café charges one.
Pick an activity, then choose a day up to 7 days ahead, a start time and a length from 1 to 4 hours. You and the host both agree to the house rules, and the host has 24 hours to accept. On the day, you meet at the public place in your booking and swap PINs to start.
No. Kinspeople is for friendly, platonic plans: you meet a local at a public place for something you both enjoy.
At one public place, like a café, library, museum or park. Every booking has a single meeting place, which you see on a map when you request a time. There are no multi-stop plans or rides between places.
It depends on the experience you choose and how many hours you book, from 1 to 4. Each experience shows its starting price in Canadian dollars, and hosts currently charge $39 to $42 an hour. You see the exact total before you send a request, and you're only charged after you meet.
